Bought this gas stove cooktop a couple of months ago. The unit works well but the coating on the grates is already peeling off! When i contacted LG about this they wanted to know the serial number on the unit. That is impossible to access as the unit has been installed and sealed on the countertop. It would be nice if the serial number was shown on the bottom of the unit which i can access, but the serial number is not on the bottom.

Three cooktop knobs are inoperable! IÕve had to jump through hoops to prove purchase! I am still waiting for replacements for over 3 months! Poorest customer service IÔve ever encountered! LG needs to improve!!!

The cooktop is great. The Superboil burner is exactly that, boils super fast. The rest of the burners are great and appropriately sized for my cooking needs. The cooktop is easy to keep clean and looks fabulous in my kitchen. The only thing I wish the knobs light up or had a more visible mark to indicate the setting. The clear plastic in the knob is not very distinct. A red piece instead of clear would have been a better choice. Still I love the cooktop and would recommend to anyone interested in getting a new one.
