I bought this unit a month ago. While I was running my 5 EVER load. The lint trap in the dryer spontaneously broke and emptied into the dryer. The product works fine, but this should not happen.

I bought this a few days ago because I needed stacked unit to fit my small closet where my old unit was. I also wanted a gas dryer and found this unit. After install I immediately did a load of laundry. The auto water setting based upon load weight is nice, and it allows you to pause the cycle to add detergent pods. I was used to adding the detergent to water before putting my clothes in, but this system does not allow this. The tub is narrow and deep. The dryer works great also. When running both the washer and dryer the unit is very quite and no more rattles in the kitchen when running like my old stacked unit did. My closet space was 271/4 W x 29 D x 77 H and this fits perfectly.

I would not recommend this appliance. I purchased it in January of this year, and it has stopped working. The motor, control panel and pressure switch all have to be replaced. GE parts are not readily available, and I have been without a washer for over a week. I am thoroughly displeased with this product and I warn everyone NOT to buy.

We bought GE again because our last GE laundry center after 15 years decided it was done. I loved that older machine but this new laundry center we bought is horrible. I put in small loads but they don't come clean and covered in lint. The machine is very noisy and you don't care put a large load into it. I will never buy another GE product again since their products have been made so cheap to save them pennies!!!
